Used Apple iPhone 1st Gen 8GB - VERY NICE! Software Jailbroken Unlocked - NO RESERVE!Jailbroken and Unlocked for any GSM provider (AT&T, T-Mobile).Running the latest software version 3.1.2 with firmware 05.11.07 This auction is for the phone, and the original box; no usb cable, no AC adapter, no earbuds, etc. (I will include one paperclip so that you can eject the SIM card tray.) This phone is in very good condition, as you can see from the pics. Only one small nick one the SIM card tray (see photo). The glass still has a screen protector. This phone is used, but was treated with great care, kept in a protective case with a screen protector. Updated to the latest iPhone firmware version 3.1.2. Ready for your SIM card. The phone has been jailbroken, so you can download 3rd party apps from Cydia or Icy (including great FREE apps for video recording, GPS navigation, and more). It has also been UNLOCKED, so you can use a SIM card from ANY US GSM mobile provider (AT&T and T-Mobile are the largest). You can find a comprehensive list of GSM providers on Wikipedia. NO MATTER WHAT someone else claims, NO current iPhone will work with these providers. Of course this phone will work as intended with AT&T. If using T-Mobile:I personally use a 16GB 3G iPhone on T-Mobile, on the same voice/data plan that I've had for years (T-Zones), and I LOVE IT! Unlocked iPhones can not use T-Mobile's 3G network (different 3G technology) but will work fine on T-Mobile's EDGE network using the proper APN address. (If this sounds too confusing, don't worry, T-Mobile will support iPhone, so don't hesitate to call them. They don't care what phone you use, just that you use their service.) Also, you MUST disable auto-updates in iTunes. Auto updating will overwrite your jailbreak/unlock.If you accidentally overwrite your jailbreak/unlock, you will need to find someone to restore your jailbreak, or learn to do it yourself.
