Pros:
-Nice cartoon graphics
-Simple game play
-View statistics of game play (ie. total distance & total launches)
-Attempt to complete goals - thus receiving awards.

Cons:
-Farting sound upon viewing distance doesn't really fit with theme.
-No multiple hi-score keeper
-No high-scores via internet

Hot Dog Down a Hallway is a humorous game in which the objective is to launch the hot dog and see how far you can get down the hallway. There some things to help you along the way and other things that... well... stop you from getting very far. Some people might find this as a similar game to Kitty Canon. While I don't really like comparing one app to another in a single review, that is really the best way to describe the app.

The game allows you to control the angle & the power of the hot dog launch; however, it seems that the obstacles and the items that help you are randomly placed each time you launch.

The game also states that by tilting the iPhone you can control the direction of the hot dog; however, I wasn't able to see a significant change in direction (backward nor forward.) I assume it's just to nudge the hot dog in the right direction if you so need to.

In the screen shot above, you can see the crab. If you land on him he cuts you up and thus your launch is over; however, let's say you hit the chandelier, it'll spin you down the hall.

I think the graphics are quite good for such a simple game and I really applaud that. I only wish that there was some way to have a global high-score to compare with friends. If you are a fan of these types of games, then grab this one, as the combination of graphics and humor make this an short and simple game. [$0.99 - iTunes link]

Game Crazy iPhone App, is an app for gamers. The app lets you the details about new games and upcoming releases. You can watch trailers and even check trade-in prices. And if you happen to want to go get a game, there is a in-app store locator.The app is split into 3 main section: Games, Stores & Settings.

Under the Games tab, you can view all games, new releases and upcoming releases.

In the game details screen, you can view its number of players, systems it's available fore, Publisher, rgular trdae in price, MVP trade in and the used price of the game. You can also find a synopsis about the game and view the trailer or find a store closest to you on where to buy the game.

Under the Stores tab, you can locate the closet store near you or search another city.

Under the settings tab, you can choose which systems you wish the app to view games for. So if you are only interested in games for your Wii & PSP, then the app will only display games for those systems.

I was quite surprised on how well the app was organized and how well it flowed. It was easy to find games for the systems I was looking for and even read a short amount about the game.

Yes, Tweetero is a Twitter application and while is has all the usual standard Twitter actions, what put this on my radar was that it allows you to save Tweets that you can send later. Of course it doesn’t have all the nifty features of say, Birdhouse, but it is nice to have the option to save, edit and send later (or even send all saved). The interface is rather simple and the Home layout is reminiscent of Tweetie, best of all this little gem is free! [Free - iTunes link]

Snapdat is a creative app that allows an user to send digital business cards to people. The receiver, by email obtains a digital picture of the business card as well as a vCard attachment for importing into their address book. This is a handy application to have when you are caught off guard and don’t have a business card on hand. Using a “SnapID” you can share your cards with other Snapdat users and retain a directory of all the cards you have received. Having been playing this game for the past couple of weeks, I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Many of you will probably know this game, some of you may not. For those of you who don’t , Myst is a complex puzzle game in which you must find a way of a deserted island/world. The footprint of the game is somewhat large, but worth it (about 720MB.) I really liked the sound the game provided, as they didn’t go short on sound design. I rarely felt like there was repetition in sound, which can be a drawback for other games. [$5.99 - iTunes link]
