Yes, it’s a mirror but the penalty is when viewing in sunlight.
It’s a protector, a mirror, and…really difficult to see the screen in sunlight. Best for those who use the iphone/ipod mostly indoors.

Cool Idea
The mirror cover is a really cool idea and when you arent using your phone it looks cool but when you are using the phone it is hard to see the screen in the daylight.
